| Kent 530 Vegas | Kent 531 Lido | Kent 645 Polaris II | Kent 649 |
Here are two pairs of guitars from the 500 and 600 series'. Note that the 530 Vegas shown had a new bridge put on it and a new vibrato arm, which looks like it came from a Fender Mustang. The color differential is probably the result of different storage conditions and simply digital camera color balance. The 531 Lido has a lead/rhythm slide switch and the body is one inch wider. The neck on the Lido is maple while the Vegas is just "hardwood". Still seems rather redundant.
It looks as though they bolted a vibrato tailpiece onto a 645 Polaris II and called it a 649. The 600 series also has a Lido and a Las Vegas, so I don't know why they would make another ax to compete with them.
